We invite you to follow MAVA’s Director General, Lynda Mansson, on her recent trip to the Prespa-Ohrid region in Greece together with the supervisory board of the Prespa Ohrid Nature Trust Fund (PONT). MAVA funds PONT together with the KFW Development Bank, and it was developed in partnership with the Frankfurt Zoological Society and WWF Greece, with help from the Caucasus Nature Fund.

MAVA’s mission rests on trust and collaboration, as well as respect for local culture and close involvement of local communities. Discover how we endeavor to put these values into practice in this region which has always been close to our founder’s heart, by ensuring that a financial mechanism is in place to continue supporting vital conservation action in the region in perpetuity.
